Have you heard of adsense? If not, then you are missing out on cash from Google. A great number of regular people like you and me are making a great deal of money online through adsense. Adsense is basically Google's way of advertising on other people's websites. They embed their ads in pages and when the ads are click the onwer of the website makes money.
